How it works
Some links on this site are affiliate links. They route through a /go/ address on
our own domain, which redirects to the casino. Opening an account through one of them may
result in the operator paying us a commission. It costs you nothing.
The bonus you receive is the same as what you would receive if you navigated to the casino's site yourself. The terms are published by the operator, and they do not change based on whether you reached the site through us or went there directly.
What the commission pays for
This is the only source of income this site has. There are no advertisements, nothing is sold here, and there is no paid membership. The commission covers the time it takes to read terms documents and maintain the database.
What it does not change
This is the part that matters, so it is specific rather than a promise.
- It does not change a figure. Every wagering requirement, minimum deposit, win cap and licence line is what the operator publishes. A commercial arrangement cannot make a 45x requirement read as 35x.
- It does not change a ranking. Each ranked page states its ordering rule at the top and the order is produced from the data. The low wagering page ranks on turnover required, the crypto page ranks on licence disclosure first. Neither has a commercial override.
- It does not remove a finding. Our reviews record hidden licence claims, contradictory clauses, unpublished wagering requirements and dormancy fees that take 10% of a balance a month. Those stay in whether or not there is a commercial relationship.
- It does not buy a place on the site. Casinos are in the database because they were researched rather than because they asked.
One consequence worth stating because it has already happened: when a correction showed a casino's bonus was more expensive than we had recorded, it no longer qualified for a ranked page and was removed from it. A rule made that decision, not a person and not a commercial relationship.
Not every link is an affiliate link
Links to regulators, responsible gambling organisations, game providers and news sites do not
generate any income for us. Neither do the internal links between our own pages. The only
commercial links are the /go/ links to casinos, and those carry
rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow".
Why we say so on every page
A disclosure line is visible on every page that carries a commercial link, above the content instead of buried at the bottom. How a ranking is funded should be known to the reader before they read the ranking rather than after it.
If you would prefer not to use an affiliate link, type the casino's address into your browser. Nothing on this site is withheld from readers who do that, and it makes no difference to the offer you get.
The honest limit of this
A disclosure is a statement of intent and there is no way to audit that intent from outside. What can be audited is whether the published ranking rules actually generate the published order, and whether the figures match the operators' own pages. Both are checkable, and how we check bonus terms shows the method, including the 73 rows we have not yet verified ourselves.
One last note on a page detailing how we get paid. Commission is only earned when someone opens an account, which gives any site like this one an interest in you gambling more rather than less. We would prefer you read our responsible gambling page and set a deposit limit first, and several of our guides conclude that the offer being described is worth passing on.
