What I do here
I maintain the bonus data behind CasinoFinderHub, which in practice means reading terms documents. Not the promotion page, which is written by marketing, but the bonus terms, the general terms and the payments page, which are written by the risk team and are where the money actually is.
That work produces three things: the database of 88 casinos that every table here is generated from, 15 reviews of casinos whose complete terms I have read, and 12 guides that take one clause at a time across all of them.
The rules I work to
These rules have come from getting something wrong at least once. I apply them to every casino I read.
- A licence counts only if it renders. Markup a browser never draws is not a disclosure. I have found a licence claim inside a hidden block and seal software that draws no seal, and neither goes in the database.
- A licence is "not disclosed" only after the general terms have been read end to end. A bonus page carrying no licence proves nothing.
- A wagering figure comes only from the document governing the welcome offer. Operators run cheap side promotions beside expensive welcome packs, and the cheap number is the one that ends up quoted everywhere.
- Re-derive everything after any change. One corrected row moves medians, counts and rankings on pages that never mention that casino.
- Record the country the pages were read from. The same operator serves different terms to different locales, so a figure without a location cannot be checked.
What I will not write
I never write that a casino was played here with real money, because it never was. Nothing on this site is based on funding an account, and a first-hand claim with no evidence beside it is worth nothing to a reader. Where a page makes a claim, the clause number or the published document sits next to it.
I also do not write process garnish. There is no "verified by our team", no fabricated career length, no review count that does not exist. Anyone can type those and no reader can check them.
The part I would rather not publish
73 of the 88 rows in our database have not yet been read from the operator. Their figures came from third-party listings, and when I began to check the data properly, the first twelve casinos I read all contained an error. Every one of those errors flattered the casino.
That count is published on how we check bonus terms, along with what each correction changed, and it increases by one every time another casino is read properly. It is the count I am least proud to show and the one that says most about whether anything else on this site can be trusted.
Where to find the work
- The guides - 12 pages, one clause each, built from the terms documents I have read.
- How we check bonus terms - the method in full, and what applying it corrected.
- The casino database - every operator with its bonus terms and licence line side by side.
Contact
If a figure on this site is wrong, or a referenced operator has changed its terms, I want to know that as well. Email contact@casinofinderhub.com with the casino and the page, and I will take another look at what that operator has published about its own terms.
